MMI Group app is a pre-installed application that is used for syncing your Samsung device with other devices so that you can control almost everything (that is synced with your device) with your phone. The app has pre-granted permissions to myriad components which are apparently required for the proper functioning of both the app and the system.

Is it safe, though? Yes, the MMI Group app is absolutely safe. Although it may look sketchy with all the permissions that it has access to, it really is nothing you should worry about. As far as our research goes, the MMI Group app majorly comes pre-installed with Samsung Galaxy A21 devices.

Can you remove or disable the MMI Group App from your phone?

Unfortunately, when you go to the Applications List on your Samsung device and then locate the MMI Group app from amongst the list, you will notice that the disable option for the same is greyed out. It’s simple maths – you can not disable the MMI Group App from your phone.

When it comes to removing the MMI Group App from your device, the option for the same is not available either. The main reason why you can’t remove the MMI Group app from your Samsung device is that the application comes pre-installed with Samsung’s firmware.

How to delete the MMI Group app from your Samsung device?

Step 1. Enable USB debugging on your phone

Step 2: Connect your phone to your computer.

  • Once USB debugging has been enabled, you can connect your phone to a PC or laptop using a USB cable that is compatible with your device.
  • Make certain that the ‘Transfer Files’ mode is selected from the notification pane. When prompted to “Allow USB Debugging,” choose the checkbox next to ‘Always allow from this computer’ and then press the OK button to proceed.

Step 4: Download and install the ADB Drivers on your computer.

  • You should install ADB drivers on your PC if you haven’t done so already. You can obtain the package by clicking on the following links: Windows, Mac, and Linux.
  • Once ADB has been installed, navigate to its directory. When you right click, select Open PowerShell Window here by holding down the Shift key and clicking.
  • Now, type “ADB devices” into your browser and check to see if your device’s code name and serial number appear in the next line.
  • To be able to utilise commands to delete programmes on your Android device, you must enter the same code twice more.

Step 5: Use ADB commands to uninstall applications that refuse to uninstall.

  • You may now use particular ADB instructions to uninstall bloatware from your phone, depending on your preferences. There are no quotations around the general code, which is simply “pm uninstall –k ––user 0 <name of package>.”
  • Simply download and install the App Inspector app from the Google Play Store to find out what the package names of the programmes on your phone are.
