How To Screenshot On Snapchat Without Them Knowing:
Snapchat users are aware that the only method to save a story is by taking a screenshot. However, during this process, the app notifies the user. If you wish to avoid this notification, you need to follow a few steps:
1. Turning On Flight Mode
Step 1: Switch on your phone, go to settings, and turn on flight mode. You can also swipe up or swipe down (depending on your mobile) and click on the airplane icon to activate flight mode.
Step 2: Open Snapchat while your phone is still in airplane mode and take a screenshot of the story or photo you want.
Step 3: After taking the screenshot, immediately close the app and uninstall Snapchat. Do not disable airplane mode during this process.
Step 4: After uninstalling Snapchat, go back to settings and turn off airplane mode.
Step 5: Reinstall Snapchat and log in with your credentials.
Note: If this method doesn’t work:
- Swipe from the bottom of the screen (or down from the top on iPhone XS) to open the Control Centre.
- Select the Airplane mode button (displayed by an airplane symbol).
- Return to Snapchat, wait for it to load, and take the screenshot.
- Uninstall and reinstall Snapchat again after turning off flight mode.
2. Screen Record the Story
Step 1: Turn on your iPhone and open Snapchat. Navigate to the story you wish to record but refrain from playing it immediately.
Step 2: Swipe down twice from the top of the screen. In the drop-down window, locate the screen recorder option, represented by a circle bordered by a larger circle. If not visible, swipe right and check the additional options. Tap on it to select.
Note: If the option isn’t available in the drop-down window, go to Settings > Control Center and enable the Screen Recording option.
Step 3: A recorder option will appear in one corner of the screen, typically on the right side. Tap on it to initiate recording.
Step 4: Play or view the story you wish to record. Once it concludes, the recording will automatically save to your gallery.
Step 5: For video stories, the recording is saved as is. For photo stories, play the video recording and capture screenshots as desired. These screenshots will be saved as Snapchat photos.
This method works seamlessly on iPhone and can also be applied on Android devices.
