“Firstly, I’ve observed an intriguing irony surrounding phone cleaning software – they often create more chaos than the tidiness they promise. Many Android versions of popular cleaning freeware tend to prompt additional freeware installations or even slip in malware alongside their downloads.
Moreover, they often fall short in providing accurate assessments of your system’s performance. Hence, finding an effective cleaner among freeware options can be quite challenging. However, I recently discovered a remarkable exception in ‘DU Speed Booster,’ developed by DUAPPS.”

“Subsequently, I installed this complimentary application on my Android device and put it to the test by exploring its provided features, which performed effectively. Now, I’m here to provide a detailed review of this product, covering each function it offers. These functions encompass acceleration, trash cleaning, app management, game boosting, security, and battery optimization.”
Let’s check out all of them one by one:
Accelerator:

“My phone was relatively new, just about a month old, and since I’m not an avid gamer, I never suspected that it might be weighed down by unnecessary clutter. So, I decided to try the accelerator feature. To my surprise, it claimed to have cleared approximately 101 megabytes of memory, leaving me wondering what could have occupied that much space in my phone. Furthermore, the cleaner reported a 26% boost in performance. Skeptical at first, I decided to put it to the test, and indeed, my phone’s speed improved noticeably.
Trash Cleaner: This feature gave me a moment of hesitation. It removed a hefty 230.2 megabytes of junk files from my phone, including one of my favorite games, SnooperT. It turned out that the game was bundled with malware. This made me think twice about installing potentially risky apps to save money. It’s not uncommon for people to use pirated or cracked software for personal use. Setting aside my reservations, the cleaner did an excellent job. It cleared out many duplicate apps, making my phone’s interface much more streamlined and user-friendly.”
App Manager:

“This function comprised four sub-functions: Uninstall System, Pre-install, APK Manager, and Move App2SD. Uninstall and System Pre-install are similar to their counterparts in your computer’s control panel, making them easy to use. APK Manager and Move App2SD are new additions. The App2SD feature enables the transfer of apps from your phone’s internal memory to your microSD card. All these functions were efficient and user-friendly.
Game Booster: This feature acted as a performance enhancer for games on my phone. However, after removing SnooperT (as mentioned earlier), it suggested boosting the speed of other games. It worked well with games like Angry Birds, though the difference wasn’t very noticeable. DU software clears pirated games, and genuine ones often require little improvement. As a result, this function may not be necessary for everyone, though some users may find it useful.
Security: The Security feature is divided into three sub-functions: Anti-virus, Permission Manager, and Call & SMS Blocker. The anti-virus was decent, considering it’s a free service. The permission manager proved effective, and the call & SMS blocker performed its designated tasks well. Overall, this feature offers reasonable functionality.
Battery Saver: The battery saver was not included in the package and directed me to the Play Store to install another related app. I did not download and test it due to privacy concerns, so users are advised to download it at their own discretion.
Final Verdict: DU Speed Booster is a valuable app that enhances your phone’s performance, delivering a smoother user experience. What’s even better is that it’s completely free. For those looking to avoid spending money on apps, this is an excellent choice. Give it a try and download the DU Speed Booster app here.”
